Palantir Stock Is Soaring Today. Here's Why.
Shares of Palantir Technologies (NASDAQ: PLTR) are surging on Thursday. The artificial intelligence (AI)-powered data analytics company's stock gained 8.1% as of 1 p.m. ET and was up as much as 9% earlier in the day. The jump comes as the S&P 500 (SNPINDEX: ^GSPC) gained 1.5% and the Nasdaq Composite (NASDAQINDEX: ^IXIC) rose 2%.The government-focused software provider is rallying after President Trump announced a trade agreement with the United Kingdom.Palantir shares climbed as President Donald Trump unveiled the broad outline of a trade agreement with the United Kingdom.
